Eligibility Requirements

1. Are 34 years old or younger at the time of application. 

2. Are female-identifying. 

3. Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident. 

4. Are a performance artist or performance arts worker with demonstrated experience in theatre, writing, directing, producing or similar. 

Supporting Documentation 

1. Headshot Photo

2. Professional CV or Résumé

3. Excerpt of proposed work - minimum of 2 pages, script excerpt or synopsis that clearly lays out the premise, central characters, arc, and key questions of the work.

SAVE YOUR WORK 

We recommend you save a personal copy of your application before you hit 'Submit'. This way, if you do have any tech issues, you have a copy of your application on file to resubmit.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL
Once you have submitted your application, you should receive an automated confirmation email from forms-receipts-noreply@google.com. This email will include a copy of your submission. Please check your inbox, junk and spam folders for the email address you used in your application.

WHAT'S NEXT?

1. All eligible applications will be carefully reviewed by the Fellowship Committee.
2. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted directly and invited to attend the Katie Lees Fellowship Pitch Night on Thursday 12 March. We aim to notify shortlisted applicants by Wednesday 4 March 2026.
3. Applicants who are not shortlisted will be notified following the assessment process.
